Had a great weekend away in Cornwall relaxing, and a little drawing too. These two were completed sitting on St.Mawes harbour on a much sunnier day than London was having! Oh yes, and a cream tea in between.
Here are some finished double pages from my finished short story from our first project of the year. At the moment my story is made up of images alone, but looking now at the images I am eager to put some text in the negative spaces. I think this would work...
This is the beginning a new little project in which we have been asked to create a narrative from an odd selection of words.
My story is about a boy who, inspired by the music he hears on a gramophone, decides to learn to play the piano. I want to show that point you reach when learning to play an instrument at which you become totally disillusioned and frustrated, unable to achieve what you want to. The boy overcomes this dark stage in his learning and is finally able to express himself.
